Employment Service providers are responsible for identifying potential clients. Workers impacted by a mass layoff in the manufacturing sector will be informed of the initiative through the Rapid Re-employment and Training Services (RRTS) process. Are there any plans to expand the Corrections Literacy Initiative into the remaining provincial correctional institutions?
The ministry is focused on addressing service delivery challenges within the current institutions that will improve performance outcomes. There are no plans to expand at this time.
