Some fields on the Client Summary tab in EOIS-CaMS are not marked as mandatory whereas they have been on the Client Reporting Template (CRT). Are they still required inputs? Example: self-identification fields.
All fields that have previously been captured in the CRT should be entered as part of the client’s profile.
Should I be expecting login information for EOIS-CaMS to be sent to me?
An EOIS-CaMS login is created by the designated authority at each service delivery site. For assistance with the set-up of a designated authority, please contact your local office.
If I experience technical issues, where can I go to resolve them?
Technical questions can be submitted to your local office contact, or through myEOIS.
Where can I find training materials and guides for EOIS-CaMS?
User guides and desk aids can be found on myEOIS. What are considered eligible expenses under “Supports for Individuals”?
“Supports for Individuals” are costs for clients to support their participation in the project. Examples include dependent care, transportation, and disability related costs (e.g. attendant care, sign language interpretation, and adaptive technology set-up). Is there a limit on how much each Ontario Employment Assistance Services (OEAS) client can receive in funding supports?
Each client can access up to $3,000 max in supports per service plan. They can be a combination of supports received through the “Supports for Individuals” or “Employment and Training Incentives for Employers” budget lines.
What should be done if a receipt cannot be obtained from a client?
Service providers must attempt to recover the funds for the unverified purchase pursuant to the wrongdoing clauses in their transfer payment agreements.
Will the ministry provide service providers with a list of items that are eligible for purchase with a gift card?
No, service providers should review the Audit and Accountability Requirements (Schedule “H”) of their transfer payment agreements to determine appropriate program-specific use of financial supports.
What if the full value of a gift card has not been used?
A client with a balance remaining on their gift card must return it to the service provider.
