Yes, there are some that have requirements that OYAP students would not meet. For example, OYAP students can enrol in the Cook trade but not in the Chef trade. To enrol in the Chef trade, applicants must have a Certificate of Qualification in Cook.

For any mistakes made when entering student information, please contact the employment and training consultant responsible for the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) at your local ministry office, who can make the correction. Yes. After opening the student’s record, click the Program Participation tab. You’ll see the current school name. Under that, you’ll see “What would you like to do?” Click “Add/update school name.” This function is explained in the EOIS-APPR User Manual for School Boards.
