Better Jobs Ontario – Client Skills Training Institution Research Tool
What Is Happening?
The Better Jobs Ontario (BJO) Client Skills Training Institution Research Tool has been updated, in collaboration with the Ministry of Colleges, Universities, Research Excellence, and Security. This tool provides BJO applicants and service providers with an additional resource to make well informed skills training decisions
Where Can I Find More Information?
The Client Skills Training Institution Research tool is posted on the BJO Application Process page on the EOPG. A memo to service providers can also be found under Related Information.
What Should Be Done Now?
Service providers should share the tool with all prospective clients seeking funding under BJO to ensure they can make informed decisions regarding the selection of training.
Background
BJO applicants must research at least three training institutions (if feasible), including at least one College of Applied Arts and Technology (CAAT) and one Career College (PCC), and consider the cost effectiveness of occupation-specific skills training. This tool provides a valuable resource to support applicants in researching skills training institutions, when seeking to participate in BJO.
