Overview
A Training Delivery Agent (TDA) is an institution, agency or organization approved by the ministry to provide the in-class training component of an apprenticeship program.
Classroom training represents approximately 10 to 15 per cent of the training apprentices need to support their on-the-job training and complete their apprenticeship program. The classroom component of an apprenticeship program usually consists of two to four levels of formal instruction based on the Skilled Trades Ontario approved curriculum. TDAs are required to be approved by the province to deliver each level of formal instruction in a trade.
