Updated Visual Identity and Communications Guidelines for Skills Development Fund (SDF) Training Stream Round 6
What Is Happening?
Skills Development Fund (SDF) Training Stream Round 6 projects are now funded exclusively by the Province of Ontario. As a result, service providers delivering Round 6 projects are required to replace the federal-provincial tri-logo with the Ontario logo on all project materials and communications.
Where Can I Find More Information?
Please refer to Appendix B (page 18) of the Employment Ontario Visual Identity and Communications Guidelines for information regarding the use of the Ontario logo on approved project materials and communications.
Who Is Affected?
Skills Development Fund Training Stream Round 6 transfer payment recipients.
Ministry staff supporting SDF Training Stream Round 6 projects.
What Should Be Done Now?
Service providers should begin using the Ontario logo in place of the federal-provincial tri-logo on SDF Training Stream Round 6 project materials and communications and ensure that future materials comply with the Employment Ontario Visual Identity and Communications Guidelines.
What Will Be Done Later?
Additional ministry communications and guideline updates may be provided as they become available.
Background
Previous SDF Training Stram rounds included joint federal-provincial funding and therefore used the federal-provincial tri-logo. As SDF Training Stream Round 6 is exclusively funded by the Province of Ontario, the Ontario logo should be used for Round 6 project materials and communications.
