From:Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development
To:All service delivery partners

What Is Happening?

Further to the November 20, 2025 rebranding of Literacy and Basic Skills to Get SET (Skills, Education and Training), the ministry is providing direction on the use of the new program logo/wordmark.

Specifications on how to use the new program logo/wordmark are outlined below. These details will be included as an annex in the Employment Ontario Visual Identity and Communication Guidelines later in 2026.

General guidelines:

  • The Get SET logo/wordmark is to be used on all communication materials, placed after the Government of Canada, Employment Ontario, and Government of Ontario logo.
  • The logo/wordmark can be displayed in any of the approved Ontario colours.

Clearance:

  • The Get SET identifier must always appear within a zone of clear space equal to half the height of the symbol. No other elements should appear in this space.

Minimum sizes:

Print
  • To ensure legibility, the printed identifier must never be reproduced smaller than 0.75 inches (19 millimetres) wide.
Digital
  • The minimum size for digital use is 180 pixels wide. This digital size is based upon high-resolution (retina) displays. When designing for lower-resolution digital displays, the identifier can appear at a minimum of 90 pixels wide.

Incorrect logo use:

  • Do not swap the places of the logo/wordmark and symbol
  • Do not place over complex backgrounds/backgrounds with insufficient contrast
  • Do not distort
  • Do not encroach into the identifier’s clearance space
  • Do not alter the identifier’s colour(s) beyond the approved selection
  • Do not apply effects

Who Is Affected?

Get SET organizations

What Should Be Done Now?

Get SET organizations are expected to use the logo/wordmark immediately.

What Will Be Done Later?

Get SET organizations should use this information to support the rebranding of their program materials and to inform their 2026-2027 business plans.

Background

Following stakeholder consultations in late 2024, Get SET (formerly Literacy and Basic Skills) network partners supported updating the program name to better reflect its focus on skills, education, and training, and to improve clarity for learners.

Changing the program name and creating a new logo with the Ontario trillium will provide consistent brand recognition across the program and increase awareness of the provincial scope of the program.
