What Is Happening?
The ministry has just launched the redesigned and rebranded Request an Appointment with a Service Provider (RASP) tool, now called FAEC (Find an Employment Counselor). The updated tool is now live.
Key improvements include:
- A new look and feel that is more user-friendly and accessible.
- Compliance with Ontario Digital Service (ODS) standards and AODA requirements.
- A simplified 3-step process that allows job seekers to book an appointment with the closest employment counselor.
Who Is Affected?
- Job Seekers using the RASP tool.
- EO SSM/Service Providers supporting Client appointments
What Will Be Done Later?
The current RASP booking tool for employers and LBS learners will remain unchanged for now. Enhancements are planned for a future release to integrate all user groups into one central tool.
Background
These changes are part of ongoing digital modernization efforts to ensure tools are user-focused, accessible, and compliant with provincial digital and accessibility standards.
